Think about how many types of communication you’ve used just in the past few hours—email, text, tweets, and posts. If you engaged in two or more platforms, you participated in the omnichannel experience. In 2015, this is something we do every day, multiple times a day.
Digital marketing is an essential component to the success of an event, and how we interact with our audience through different channels can make or break that success. As marketers and meeting planners, we’re always seeking new ways to attract prospects and foster a sense of community with a realistic budget. Emerging Professionals are key collaborators in harnessing the power of digital marketing and leveraging the omnichannel experience.
About the Speaker(s):
Jaclyn joined Fixation after six years on the frontline of retail management, where she built up a cache of communication, customer relations (aka mind-reading) and merchandising skills—requisites to her work in marketing. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, her meticulous approach to project management is part nature (she’s just one of those details people), part nurture (the result of having worn many hats).
Her obsession with smoothing out wrinkles comes in handy when working on campaigns that offer seamless digital experiences for users and in helping Fixation’s clients make the most of these campaigns while keeping tidily within budget.
Account Services Coordinator
After graduating from University of Maryland in 2013, Hannah embarked on an adventure that would take her from the challenging terrain of teaching children with developmental disabilities in Montgomery County to the jungles of Thailand, where she worked with rescued elephants. Back again stateside, Hannah decided that the
challenging and creative environment of a fast-paced marketing firm would satisfy her sense of adventure while putting her diplomatic skills to good use. Fixation Marketing has been home base since early 2015, where she’s learning marketing strategies from some of the best.
